The Acid Queen

Picked a character from the musical The Who's Tommy and created mood board, inspiration, setting, three costume sketches with references, and a prototype. I chose the character the Acid Queen and put a spin on the play by setting it in 1920's New Orleans. I made the Acid Queen a voodoo priestess as well to give a spooky sensual feeling to the character. My sketches are inspired by this new setting and my vision for the play and character.
